About me
Karen’s career as a Sports & integrated soft tissue Therapist spans over 20 years, during which time she coached gymnasts and worked with the Royal Ballet, allowing her to apply many skills as a body professional into her unique teachings.
A vast knowledge in movement and function enables her to integrate her mastery & deep understanding in anatomy and physiology with her love of yoga, building bespoke sessions and sequences to encompass a range of techniques drawn from many professional influences.
The loves of my life
I cherish being Mum & Step Mum to two amazing daughters who have grown up into wonderful adults and who everyday make me proud. I have a wonderful soulmate who is a continual inspiration, having supported my work and study - throughout all of my most mad endeavours - over the past 20 years.
I am blessed to live in the beautiful county of Suffolk and love the outdoors, camping, cycling, canoeing and paddle boarding and every day you will find me either strolling - dog by my side, or quietly paddling along on the River Stour.
Gratitude
I give continual thanks and gratitude to all of my mentors & teachers past and present - Alison Litchfield, Charlotte Watts, John Gibbons, Fiona Palmer and the folks at Anatomy Trains® – forever eternally thankful for all of their teachings, wisdom and support.
I am continually inspired by the works and studies of Gil Hedley, Tom Myers & Bonnie Bainbridge-Cohen'.
Kind Words
Karen’s classes are such a special place for me and the feeling of calm is still there even over Zoom!
Karen guides you clearly through the class and I can feel that week by week I am improving my practice.
I wouldn’t miss a class for anything. My body is becoming more supple and strong and the feeling of grounding is wholey and completely uplifting.

For many years I've had problems and a lot of pain in my sacroiliac joint and sacrum. I did last Thursday's class and wow amazing, I felt so good afterwards.
I've isolated the section of the class that helps and now that has become part of my daily morning stretch routine. I can hear my hips popping and creaking as they click back into place, leaving them feeling free and painless.
Thanks so much.

I love yoga and this is absolutely down to Karen’s teaching, she gives really clear direction.
Her classes are always fresh with something to learn from each one.
Karen creates a non-judgemental and inspiring atmosphere while being down to earth and good fun.
Since doing Karen’s sessions I’ve learned more about my body, what it needs and the way it moves.
